Brad Delhotal – Vocals Brad Delhotal brings years of live performance experience to Robo-Chimp, with a musical history that spans a wide range of original projects and cover bands. His past work includes In Order, Sage, Pseudoplasmodium, The Liquid Thread, Trip and Mali, Propho Bones, and Dysfunctional Gents, each adding to a deep foundation of stage time and musical versatility. Across these projects, Brad developed a confident front-man presence and a vocal style shaped by real-world gigs rather than studio theory. He’s comfortable commanding a room, connecting with an audience, and adapting on the fly — skills that matter when the lights are on and the crowd is watching. As the voice of Robo-Chimp, Brad channels that experience into performances that are high-energy, engaging, and built around one simple goal: making sure the crowd is having as much fun as the band is.
Mark Summers, Guitarist
Mark Summers (guitar) began playing guitar at age 7 and has spent a lifetime immersed in music, performing with numerous bands and appearing on many recordings. His musical journey includes Natural Touch, Disguise the Limit, The All-Stars, Rockster, and a host of others. Drawing inspiration from guitar greats like Eddie Van Halen, Pat Travers, and Ty Tabor, Mark’s enduring love of music and playing continues to drive him, keeping his guitar in hand while many others have long since closed the case.
Josh Summers, Drummer
Joshua Summers began playing drums at age 10 in a small church in western Tennessee. Growing up in a musical household, studio time and jam sessions were part of everyday life, and choosing drums allowed him to forge his own identity early on. In high school, he deepened his skills through jazz band, learning rudiments and music reading while gaining a strong appreciation for dynamics and groove. Since then, Joshua has played with a variety of bands and sat in on countless sessions. He sees music as the language of the soul and is excited to bring energy, feel, and great vibes to every performance.
Brian Allicks, Bassist
Brian Allicks — Bass & Backing Vocals Brian Allicks has been wiring guitars to weird ideas since 8th grade in Princeton, Illinois. A lifelong multi-instrumentalist and early music-tech tinkerer, he’s spent decades in the Illinois Valley scene as a guitarist, backing-track builder, and pit musician for theater productions like Bat Boy and Xanadu. He co-founded Wrong Animal, powered the dance-floor energy of Misunderstood, and was an original member of the country-rock party favorite Wild Card. Now Brian holds down the low end and backing vocals for Robo-Chimp — bringing road-tested chops, studio brains, and a love of loud, fun, classic rock to every stage.
